What stopped anyone from growing one while within? I hate how people are so weak minded (though I understand) that they wouldn't even dare grow facial hair. Maybe I'm just a young rebel but damn I never ever had that much regard for their rules. When I was 14 I put a giant red splotch on my head and smiled at people who looked at it strange. It damn sure got me out of field service.

Could the WTBTS get JWs to kill?
by serotonin_wraith ini'm not saying those in power would even contemplate doing this, but i wonder just how far jws would go to obey their leaders.
would they go as far as to kill, if they thought god had given that message to 'his people'?.
it would probably take years of subtle changes in their message so that it didn't come as a big shock.

I think anyone could get any group of people to kill if they pick the right people. Maybe 3% of Dubs if even that would actually follow through with a directive like that. The other 97% would be horrified. Just like if the founder of this site put out a directive to kill probably 1% would follow the other 99% would not. These aren't Nazis people. Oh and Jim Jones had a Pentecostal up bringing he felt he was an outcast and so were they, so he naturally was attracted to them.

I think the funniest thing on here is Shepperd inviting a "expert" on the subject...then telling him he's wrong. Classic Fox news style, invite an expert only to make him look like a fool. That wasn't too convincing to me..but I'm open to it.

Every time I hear stories like this...I think of the song by Bruce Springsteen - "Jungle Land".
The midnight gang's assembled and picked a rendezvous for the night They'll meet `neath that giant Exxon sign that brings this fair city light Man there's an opera out on the Turnpike There's a ballet being fought out in the alley Until the local cops, Cherry Tops, rips this holy night The street's alive as secret debts are paid Contacts made, they vanished unseen Kids flash guitars just like switch-blades hustling for the record machine The hungry and the hunted explode into rock'n'roll bands That face off against each other out in the street down in Jungleland
In the parking lot the visionaries dress in the latest rage Inside the backstreet girls are dancing to the records that the D.J. plays Lonely-hearted lovers struggle in dark corners Desperate as the night moves on, just a look and a whisper, and they're gone
Beneath the city two hearts beat Soul engines running through a night so tender in a bedroom locked In whispers of soft refusal and then surrender in the tunnels uptown The Rat's own dream guns him down as shots echo down them hallways in the night No one watches when the ambulance pulls away Or as the girl shuts out the bedroom light
Outside the street's on fire in a real death waltz Between flesh and what's fantasy and the poets down here Don't write nothing at all, they just stand back and let it all be And in the quick of a knife they reach for their moment And try to make an honest stand but they wind up wounded, not even dead Tonight in Jungleland -

Well considering I am not baptized and don't know hardly any wittnesss in Charlotte, I could do something "crazy" and get away with it. I guess this thread was more ridiculous things you could do and get aways with. Has anyone ever asked a question during a comment? I have never seen or heard anything like someone just outright saying, "what about the boreans?" on a matter.
